Mark Elliott

Chairman

Mark Elliott BE(Civil)(Syd) joined the St Paul’s College Council in 2016 and became Chair in 2017. He is a member of the Finance Committee and a Director of SPCGH, the entity which developed and owns the Ivan Head and McMillan buildings.

Mark is also a member of the Friends of Sydney University Football (Rugby) Club and plays a key role in the Club’s mentoring program.

Mark is a Non-Executive Director of Sydney Metro Airports (Bankstown and Camden Airports), environmental firm EMM Consulting and Chair of ESG and leadership specialist Apricot Consulting. Mark also provides mentoring for Senior Executives through Stephenson Mansell Group.

He spent the first 17 years of his career in construction as a Site Engineer, Project Manager and Regional Manager, working across Australia. The next 17 years saw Mark in MD/CEO roles across the infrastructure, engineering, construction and mining industries.

Mark commenced at Paul’s in 1981, representing the College in three Rawson Cup sports (rugby, rowing and athletics), resulting in four wins. He served on the Student’s Club Committee in his final year (1984) and convened rugby. Mark is married to Caroline, and together they have three children. He continues to enjoy skiing, rowing, running, kayaking and adventure travel.
