MENTORING PROGRAMME

The St Paul's College Mentoring programme provides a unique one-on-one mentoring experience for our students.

St Paul’s provides an education, not just a place to do a degree. An important part of this is being part of a collaborative, outward-looking, and talented community of alumni and friends of the College. By the end of their time at St Paul’s, we want all students to have had the opportunity to learn from and be inspired by the lives, careers, and service of members of the broader St Paul’s family. Volunteers from alumni, parents, and friends of the College – to mentor and visit our students on careers nights and events – are crucial to us achieving this goal for our students.

The St Paul’s College Mentoring Programme is founded on belief that one of the simplest and best parts of College life is conversation with others. Thoughtful and meaningful one-on-one conversations between students and mentors are at its heart.

The College provides guidance for both mentors and mentees to help spark conversation, seek reflection and feedback, and help make the mentor-mentee relationship a positive and enriching one. There is no expectation of internships, graduate jobs, or social event invitations within the programme.
