Accommodation designed for postgraduate living
Members of St Paul’s College Graduate House live in the McMillan building, overlooking the heritage buildings of the Old College. Opened in 2019, the McMillan building features modern, furnished rooms designed to maximise the quality of your study and rest time.
Different room types and sizes are available, with most rooms 29 square metres or larger. All rooms come with a private ensuite and kitchenette.

Room Types
There are 4 different room types to choose from at Graduate House. These differ in size and configuration, and can include a balcony.
Room Sizes
Room sizes range from 19sqm to 44sqm (or 57sqm shared), with most rooms 29sqm or more. Our rooms are more spacious than most student accommodation options around the University of Sydney.
Room inclusions
All rooms come with furnishing, a private ensuite and a kitchenette. They also come with centralised air-conditioning and heating, and 100GB of high-speed Wi-Fi per month.
Furnishing
Every room includes a bed, pillows, a desk and desk chair, and a mini fridge. Larger rooms (A Room, Studio or One-bedroom Apartment) also come fitted with a couch and coffee table.

Located within the University of Sydney
St Paul’s College sits amongst beautiful and extensive grounds and gardens at the heart of the University of Sydney.
It is located within the main campus of the University of Sydney, approximately a 3–5-minute walk to Eastern Avenue, the University’s primary walkway. Students can access the University from City Road, or behind the College where the University’s Western Avenue is located.
The neighbouring suburb of Newtown, with its bustling café, bar and restaurant scene, is a short walk from the College, as is Broadway shopping centre. Redfern railway station is just a few blocks away. Buses on City Road travel directly to Central railway station and the CBD with bus, rail and ferry connections to the airport, beaches and other Sydney attractions.
