St Paul’s College is delighted to announce that Mrs Louise Hambridge has been appointed as the College’s Business Manager from February 2019.

Louise Hambridge will join the College after 15 years’ experience at Danebank School, where she has served since 2006 as Director of Finance and Enrolments. Danebank is an Anglican school for girls in Sydney.

The Business Manager of St Paul’s College will have responsibility across the full breadth of the business of the College, including finance and investments, human resources management, administration, facilities (including, of course, the College’s new buildings) and operations, external “events and stays”, legal matters and regulatory compliance.

Mrs Hambridge’s leadership as Director of Finance and Enrolments at Danebank, which is a senior executive role at the School, has included management of all operational activities and staff. She has whole-of-school responsibility for strategic planning, budgeting and financial reporting, marketing strategy, governance, and risk management.

The College is delighted to welcome Louise Hambridge’s depth and breadth of experience to our staff team.

Mrs Hambridge holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Sydney, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Australian Institute of Business. Prior to joining Danebank, her career included management roles for over a decade at the Trust Company of Australia and Perpetual Trustee Company Ltd.

The appointment of the Business Manager comes as the College warmly thanks and farewells Deputy Head of College, Mr Geoff Lovell, following three years of outstanding service on the College staff.

Geoff joined the College staff for three years in 2016 to lead the expansion of the College – the largest since its foundation in 1856 – which is now nearing its successful completion with the creation of the Ivan Head Building and Graduate House.

The College is deeply grateful to Geoff for his contribution to the College during this time, which also involved facilitating the transition to a new Head of College, acting as Warden in the Warden’s absence, and leading other important College initiatives. The College looks forward to his continued involvement, including as Chair of the St Paul’s College Foundation.
