Ross Thompson (at College 1988-90) is the stud principal and owner of Millah Murrah Angus. Ross’s stud has been a highly successful breeder creating a much sought-after bloodline for the cattle industry. In September at Goonamurrah near Bathurst the Millah Murrah bull sale set a new world record average of $43,633. The sale attracted buyers from all over Australia and NZ. The success of Ross’s breeding and the strength of the genetics of his stud bulls is a testament to his contribution to Australia’s cattle industry.
