The College is unique on campus in operating the fully licensed “Salisbury Bar” as its College Bar. The College Bar has become a traditional centre for the convivialities of campus life
The College Bar complies with all licensing regulations including the responsible service of alcohol and its licence is highly valued and protected by College members
It was established by a bequest of the late Charles V. Salisbury.
At the end of each year, a group of senior members of the Students’ Club apply to form the syndicate that will operate the College Bar for the following year.
The Bar and the wider College cater equally for the non-drinking students. By College policy, a range of non-alcoholic beverages are always available.
