Application
Applications for St Paul’s College Graduate House are accepted from postgraduate women and men. Graduate House is a community within the College open to anyone who already holds a university degree, and is studying at the University of Sydney and other local universities. Membership is offered on the basis of merit, including potential. Applications for membership should be made through the St Paul’s College Student Portal.

Interview
The Registrar will organise an interview with candidates to meet with senior staff members. The College and House seek accomplished, community minded, and energetic members. All aspects of applicants’ achievements are taken into account, including academic merit, character, extracurricular involvement, community service, the desire to be involved deeply in the life of the Graduate House community, and a calling to leadership in one’s career and society.

Two references are required. References must be sent directly to the College by the referee. The academic reference should be from a University lecturer/tutor, or other academic mentor familiar with your scholarly work. The personal reference should be from someone who knows you well, and who can give an objective account of you, rather than a family friend – for example, a senior colleague, employer, or an academic supervisor. The College values references from those who write candidly about what makes you distinctive.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available for prospective postgraduate students to assist meritorious students to live and study in Graduate House. More information on these opportunities will be announced soon.

Students applying for membership of Graduate House in advance of scholarship details have the opportunity to indicate they would like to be considered for scholarships based on extra information provided at the time of application.
