Facilities for student life

Graduate House boasts a range of facilities for the use of its members.

Two common rooms provide attractive social space for students – great places to meet with friends, relax between lectures, or hold informal events. The ground floor common room is a welcoming space overlooking the Graduate House garden and College oval, while the top floor common room includes a large roof terrace with views over the University and central Sydney.

Additional common spaces with kitchen facilities, dining, and lounge space can be found on each floor for smaller gatherings.

A private dining room can be reserved for small gatherings or meetings.

Graduate House members also have access to various facilities of the wider St Paul’s College of which Graduate House is a part. An extensive new library bridging the space underground between Graduate House and the adjacent Ivan Head Building will provide quiet study space and reference materials to all members of College. The House will also feature a superb new gymnasium and music practice rooms for use by all members of St Paul’s.

The College Chapel, offering weekly services in the Anglican tradition, is open to all. Applications are welcome to the College Choir.

The College is lucky to have its own sports oval available for casual games and activities, and scheduled matches. As the Graduate House community takes shape, our first cohorts of students will have the opportunity to establish regular sporting activities and build the House’s teams. The College is also close to a wide variety of University sports facilities.
