The “Grisp” is a professional mentoring programme managed by the St Paul’s College Union. The Union has established a Register of Paulines working in the various professions, the arts, the sciences, the academy, journalism and business (all of which will be referred to as “the professions” below) who are interested in providing some voluntary form of mentoring or career advice for current senior residents of the College or Paulines who have graduated and left College in the last year or so. A Career at the Bar - 18 August 2010
Pauline Professional Networking @ Grisp The Grisp was launched early on Friday 12th March 2010 at the Lend Lease building overlooking eastern Darling Harbour. 70 Paulines younger and older gathered to hear Patrick Allaway set the scene with a talk on the value of working with friends and of extended collegiality in professional life. Paulines established in their working life are networking through Grisp to provide a sense of advice and direction for younger Paulines emerging from College and University. It was a great inaugural morning and some thought it one of the best things the Union has done in recent years. Much work has gone into it via the Union Secretary Matthew White and the Grisp Protocols are available above.
