Dr Ivan Head holds a PhD in New Testament Language and Literature from Glasgow University, and is also a graduate of the University of Western Australia and the Melbourne College of Divinity. His UWA Degree was in Philosophy, which he also studied at   Melbourne University in parallel with his initial Divinity studies.

Dr Head has a working interest in the ethics of IVF and the application of related sciences and serves as Chair of an HREC working in this field. He is also interested in poetry and his own poems have been published in a range of Australian journals and in The Projectionist.  Most recently he has published ‘Herodian Aspects of the English Reformation Monarchy’ in the St Mark’s Review, Canberra.
