Scholarship applications for 2010 are now closed.
The College awards a significant number of scholarships, funded by the College Foundation and by a series of generous individual benefactors. In any one year there are at least 57 scholarship holders, that is close to a third of all students at St Paul’s are beneficiaries of a scholarship of one sort or another. A significant number are for full fees (7), the majority are for half fees (36), and others are for quarter fees and below (12). Also awarded each year is a range of Grants and Awards. (Canon Austin Day, Bennie Choir Scholarships, Council Prizes for 1st Class Honours in final exams, Judge Humfry Henchman Prize for Final Year Law).

Every year a significant proportion of these scholarships comes up for allocation. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic results in the first instance, though an active contribution to the life of the College is anticipated. Retention is dependent on satisfactory academic progress.
Note: The information above is indicative. The number of scholarships awarded, together with value and tenure, will be decided by the Scholarship Committee in January 2010.

Graduate and Post-graduate Scholarships
Felix Arnott Residential Scholarship for Post-Graduate students 2010
The Felix Arnott Scholarship is provided by the St Paul’s College Foundation in honour of the Most Reverend Felix Arnott, Warden 1946-63. The Scholarship will be offset against residential fees and has a total annual value of approximately $15, 000 in order to come within the maximum benefit allowable to holders of APA/UPA. Reasonable research expenses may also be approved by the College Council. The Scholarship is tenable for a period of one year and may be extended annually by the Council. The applicant will ordinarily be enrolled full time in a Masters degree by research or a PhD at the University of Sydney.
Greenland-Stapley Edwards Scholarship for Graduate or Post-Graduate students 2010
The Greenland-Stapley Edwards Scholarship pays one half of the residential fees and is tenable for a period of one year extendable up to three years. The applicant will be enrolled full time in a graduate or post-graduate degree at the University of Sydney.
