A comment from the Warden on the Brussels Bombings

“The indiscriminate killing of innocent men and women and children going about their daily lives in Brussels is a mark of deeply corrupt people who have traded virtue and values for the fantasy belief that terror and murder and the creation of innocent victims will change the world into a better realm, or lead to a realm approved by their ‘god’.  Such people are to be resisted with the total resources of governments and ecclesial bodies who each strive in their own ways for a truly better world where persons are respected and life is valued.   Sympathy for the afflicted is felt and offered. That they have become victims of evil men and women with no love of life or respect of persons is tragic and a burden, and the false ideations of the perpetrators are to be studied, named and analysed for what they are. Terror, as a pragmatic strategy for political change is to be deeply resisted, as it has been in the past.”
